Ans- The contact details of vendor M/S Gangashanker Enterprises, Pune is available on web site of ROBOCON 2017.

89- Sir, last year, Robocon India did not allow the wire of the wired controller to touch the ground. Can the wired controller's wire, length between 1-3 meter, touch the ground? Provided no other wire of the robot touches the ground. Please clear our doubt.
Last year, during the super league matches, our controller was told by the referee that hold the elongated wire of controller in hand. Before the super league, the wire was allowed to touch the ground.
Ans- Wire is a part of Robot so it is expected that no part of Robot should touch the game field.

90-We found a notification on Robocon India website that weight limit relaxation of 10% is given on 25 kg, that means now the weight limit is 27.5 kg to be followed strictly but does it include the weight of frisbees loaded on the robot or this is without including frisbee as earlier it was 25 kg without including frisbees and as the weight of frisbees are increased it will be required that we should increase the strength of Robot. So  ultimately the question is does this weight of 27.5 kg include the weight of frisbees?
Ans- The weight of the Robot is excluded with the disc.

91- Rule 7.5.1 states that Robot must fit in start zone but it has also been answered that robot is allowed to hold the fence from outside also, so can the robot hold the fence from the very starting of the game when it is placed in Start Zone while the dimension being under the limits of 1500x1500x1800 mm? (as while holding from outside from the start some part of the robot will be out of the game field).
Ans- Refer the National FAQ 32.

93- Will the dimension of container will also be taken in account when measuring with dimension 1000x1600x1400 mm when container is separate with the robot and it will be loaded with discs during setup tiem separately and it will only be put together with the robot after the game start and robot reached to loading area and after loading the container robot will be under the dimension of 1500x1500x1800 mm limit?
Ans- Refer 2.4.3

94. Referring R3.5-1 & R2.4.1-9 can we manually adjust the disc (transfer from one loading mechanism to the other loading mechanism) internally in the robot in the Start Zone during a retry.
Ans- Yes Allowed but from starting zone..

95-With reference to above subject, I member of Robocon Team of my college, am having confusion regarding International FAQ No. R7.6.1-1
Ans- Refer National Robocon web site for details.

96-Sir. from the answer of this FAQ it is clear that the weight limit            (international =25 kg and  domestic=27.5 Kg) is without including weight of Discs. But it is not yet officially clear from Robocon India side and with the increase in weight of discs total weight of discs become (75 gm x 50 = 3.75 Kg) which gives us (27.5 - 3.75) = 23.75 kg to build our robot . It is very difficult to build a fully functioning robot in such less weight limit so please clear the confusion and update FAQs on robocon india website.
Ans- This is updated on web site of ROBOCON 2017.

97. As mentions in rulebook height of robot should be 1400mm and after expansion 1800mm, can we increase height manually by adding continuer?
Ans- Refer rule 7.5

98. How will you specify width and length of the robot?
Ans- Pl. refer the rule 7.5

99.Can the flying discs be loaded into magazines in the setup time of two minutes that is alloted before the three minutes of gameplay time?
Ans- Refer the Rule Book Game procedure 2.1

100.Can  the flying discs be arranged in the loading area by the players in the setup time before the match.
Ans- Allowed but within set up time and should not damage the disc while handling.

101.In the national Robocon contest, is the weight of the disc included in the weight of the robot?
Ans- Refer National Robocon web site for details. It is 27.5 Kg excluding disc.

102. Is the increased weight limit of 27.5kg including the discs or without the discs?
Please do reply as soon as possible, as the national contest is approaching very soon
Ans- Refer National Robocon web site for details. It is 27.5 Kg excluding disc.

103. As per question number 53 (FAQ53 - updated 13th Feb 17) , the reply conflicts with the international organisers specifications. As per the international organiser the robot must fit inside a box of dimensions 1000mm(L) x 1600mm(W) x 1400(H) just for transportation purpose(as it is not easy to accommodate the huge box during transportation) and NOT during the weight and measurement procedure, and the dimensions 1500(L) x 1500(W) x 1800(H) are the dimensions, which shall be considered as  dimensions of the robot during the event.
Ans- It should follow dimensions 1500(L) x 1500(W) x 1800(H) during the contest.

104. But, as per your clarification, it seems that the aforementioned dimensions shall be considered during weight and measurement procedure.
Ans- Dimensions 1500(L) x 1500(W) x 1800(H) during the contest.

105. Could you please tell me the allowed weight of the robot.
Ans- 27.5 Kg without weight disc.

106. If there is initially no containers attach to our robot & we fit it in loading zone...
& our robot without containers under 1400 mm & in game field it is under 1800 mm with container...
So it is require to attach containers when dimension are measured..??
Ans- Refer Rule 2.4 & 7.5 for detail.

107. We think about to load 50 disc at one time....
So total weight of disc is around 50*70gm= 3.5 kg
& your limitation are 27.5 kg with disc so robot weight is under 24 kg...
So it is not fair with international rule book which allow us to keep weight till 25 kg...
So make rule like robot weight under 25 kg...
Ans- It is 27.5 Kg with discs.

108- What should be the dimension of robot(LxBxH) during inspection as well as during game? Can we go to loading area to load the disc again in our container again if it already half-filled?
Ans- Dimensions 1500(L) x 1500(W) x 1800(H) during the contest.
